Well I'm sure many of you will know who Scott Raynor is, but for those newbies out there here's a little more info...

Story 1:
Scott Raynor performed for blink 182 as the drummer for Flyswatter (demo album), Buddah, Chesire Cat and Dude Ranch. Scott left the band after the release of Dude Ranch in 1998 to go back to college and gain his degrees. Despite numerous different rumours, Scott was not kicked out of of the band. He now plays with a local band and is supported by the members of Blink 182.

Travis Barker (previous drummer for a band called The Aquabats) joined blink 182 to record for Enema Of the State. According to Tom, Travis stepped into the breach at and emergency, when they had nobody to play the drums for one of the concerts. Travis learnt all the songs very quickly, and went on to play for the band permanently.

Story 2:
Scott got into heavy drinking, and so was not allowed to continue playing for the band. Mark and Tom weren't having it, and kicked him out. Rumour also has it that the song Man Overboard was written about Scott, and if you read the lyrics, it really does figure.

I'm not going to conclude this, because I don't know how. I guess nobody will ever know the real story.
