My Own Review of the Concert in Boston:

The show opened with a flaming "Fuck" set center on stage. With a count to four, Travis led Mark and Tom into the first song, Rock Show. As Tom did cartoon voices of Satan, Travis wailed away on his drum kit. Mark had then made a few comments about the venue, Suffolk Downs is a horse race track in Boston, and he convinced the crowd that horses were for fucking not for racing. Tom decided that this would be the best show on their 2001 tour because there were no seats. Kids were moshing and crowd surfing around all the fans. The energy was at an all-time high. The venue was close to Logan Airport, but the planes flying overhead were no competition for the pounding sounds of Travis's drum solo during the new song Roller Coaster. After a few songs Larry, the guitar tech, came out to give Tom a new guitar and Mark thanked all of Boston for performing the Boston Tea Party in his own words "That shit was rad. Fuck the king of England dude". Some unknown kid in the audience was standing on his friends, and Mark declared him the "Statue of Retarded". Hey, I'd be the "Statue of Retarded" seen as how Tom dedicated the next song, Anthem Part 2, to him. The show had to close at 10, which is a little earlier than usual, because of the close neighbors to the venue. Well Mark decided that the neighbors were party-poopers and had the entire crowd yell "Fuck You Neighbors" while flipping them off. This turned out to be no small affair. I just feel bad for the parents who brought their 7-year-old kids to the concert expecting a night of family bonding.
